Independent of government and corporate funding, Our Generation remains a people-powered movement. To bring to the truth to the world, of the hidden struggle of Australia’s First Peoples.

We invite your support to help us achieve the next phase of work.

HELP US GET THE ISSUES INTO AUSTRALIA’S SCHOOLS

Following widespread interest and support from the educational sector, we plan to develop multimedia resources for schools.

An expanded educational DVD will unpack the various issues in the film, and explore them more in more detail.

With extra interviews and learning resources, this will be a comprehensive tool for learning about Aboriginal issues.

We also plan to develop a study guide to accompany the film, aimed at Years 11 and 12, which will be aligned with the national curriculum.

HELP US TO REACH THE MAINSTREAM

Whilst the film has had great success in grassroots outreach through community screenings and DVD sales, television broadcast remains the most effective way to reach the mainstream.

Various international distributors have expressed interest in the film. However, they require a 52 minute version that is suitable for television broadcast.

Our next step is therefore to cut a shorter version of the film, that will be picked up by TV stations around the world. And Australia, most importantly…

We remain independently funded, and are asking for any donations to help us cover these upcoming editing costs.

We have secured a brilliant editor, James Bradley, to work with us. He was the editor of the beautiful TV series First Australians, and many other award-winning productions.

Any help you can offer to help us achieve the above objectives is greatly appreciated.
